borninflames82: Had a meeting with three other women and delegate Bob Marshall today… He looked like a regular dood… but by the end of the meeting I realized that he was evil incarnate. Blames victims of sexual assault, bigoted as hell, heartless to those in poverty and for all he has to say about what’s good for women… he sure can talk over them. God forbid we should have a voice or airspace. I might be hoping for too much… but I do think he may have stopped for a minute to think when I told him that every authority, quote, statistic and reference he made about women’s rights… was created or said by a man. Blows my mind that he kept saying, “we’re all equal here”… running his hand across the room… and in the next breath plow over each and every one of our voices with propaganda, jargon and rhetoric. Dear Bob… Just saying something doesn’t make it so. It may do you some good to close your mouth and open your ears… isn’t that how you’re supposed to represent people… by knowing their heartbeats, hopes and dreams as your own? Ps.  This is the guy that spoke against gay marriage by saying that we might as well let people marry animals or 5 year olds.  Also, he can’t wrap his mind around the idea of bisexuality and thinks that people have to be in relationships with a man and a woman at all times to be bisexual and what would THAT do to the sanctity of marriage??? BARF! Happy Birthday, Elizabeth!!!! You badass!!!
